Retsch Product Innovations at ANALYTICA
Retsch, the experts in milling and sieving, present new product innovations at this year’s Analytica.
The versatile Mixer Mill MM 400 grinds, mixes and homogenizes two samples at the same time and can even process up to 20 samples simultaneously with adapters. This all-rounder is suitable for a great variety of materials such as tissue, bones, ceramics, soils, minerals, drugs or plastics. Thanks to the screw-top grinding jars the MM 400 can also be used for wet and cryogenic grinding.
Another highlight is the Planetary Ball Mill PM 100 CM which operates in the centrifugal mode. Size reduction to the nano range is effected by friction and pressure which helps to reduce the temperature inside the grinding jar. To monitor the processes which occur during grinding, Retsch offers the new measurement system PM GrindControl which is used to document pressure and temperature inside the grinding jar.
For particle size analysis Retsch presents the new sieve shaker AS 200 tap. This instrument combines horizontal circular sieving motion with vertical taps and provides reliable and reproducible measuring results.
With the new “Retsch Grand Prix 2008” campaign, Analytica visitors will have the chance to experience real formula-1 atmosphere in a race simulator at the Retsch booth no. 211 in hall A1!
