Paddle Blender PB 100
The Paddle Blender PB 100 is designed for sample preparation for subsequent microbiological food testing. The homogenization of the sample is produced by a combination of mechanical effects. The patented SMASH effect crushes the sample during the first 3 seconds with maximum speed; it is complemented by a peristaltic mixing of the sample which guarantees optimum sample preparation.
The samples are prepared in disposable sterile bags. Thus, cross contamination is avoided and instrument sterilization between samples made obsolete. The bags are available in different designs for various applications.
应用实例
semi-solid and solid foodstuffs

作用原理
The homogenization of the sample, which is filled in a sterile bag, is produced by a combination of two mechanical effects: The SMASH effect crushes the sample during the first 3 seconds with maximum speed.
This is then followed by a peristaltic effect which efficiently mixes the sample.
To avoid damage of the blender or the sample bag, the blender is switched off if the shock sensors detect that the sample is too hard. This guarantees that the SMASH effect always works with full power.
