When it comes to particle sizing, the classical technique of sieve analysis is often overlooked in favor of more modern methods. Yet, with the right equipment and proper care, sieve analysis yields accurate and reproducible results for a fraction fo the cost. As a standalone particle-sizing technique, sieing should be considered when the majority of the particles are over 75 microns.
